RAJASTHAN STATE SENIOR OPEN FIDE RATING
CHESS TOURNAMENT- 2023, EVENT CODE 328594/RAJ/(S)/2023
RAJASTHAN STATE SENIOR OPEN FIDE RATING CHESS TOURNAMENT- 2023 was held from 5th July, 2023 to 9th July, 2023, at JeevanDhara SamajKalyan Sanstha , Near St. Mary’s Convent School, Lalsot Road, Dausa, Rajasthan, SHRI KRISHAN GOPAL SHARMA PRESIDENT DISTRICT CHESS ASSOCIATION DAUSA organized the event. The tournament attracted total 149 players from All over the Rajasthan including 21 Districts and 2 players rating more than 2000. There were in all 76 International FIDE rated players.
Divyanshu Babel of Udaipur won the tournament with 8.5 points out of possible 9 rounds and cash prize of Rs. 30,000 INR & Coveted Trophy. Runner up of the event was Aman Balana of Shri Ganganagar won Cash prizes of Rs. 17,000 INR & Trophy. Chandrajeet Singh Rajawat of Udaipur won cash prizes of Rs.10,000 in the open category. Total 42 cash prizes with 13 trophies were given to winners in Different categories and medals to all players.
Inauguration of the tournament was done By Shri Kalpana Gaiman (Vice Chairman of Nagar Parishad), Former RPSC member Shri Vinod Bhihari Sharma ,Shri Krishan Gopal Sharma (VP of RCA) and Seating International Chief Arbiter Rajendra Teli, Pritpal Singh (Secretary DDCA), SNA Mukesh Gurjar .
Prizes were distributed by Mamta Chaudhary (Chairman OF Nagar Parishad) , Kalpana Jaiman (Voice Chairman of Nagar Parishad), Kailesh Chandra Dad Senior VP RCA,Shri Krishan Gopal Sharm VP of RCA, International Arbiter Rajendra Teli, VP Rajasthan Chess Association in the Closing ceremony.
The team of Arbiters was headed by Chief Arbiter by IA Rajendra Teli and he was ably assisted by younger team of Arbiters Deputy Chief Arbiter &
SNA Mukesh Gurjar Deputy Chief Arbiter, Sector Arbiters: SNA NIRAJ Suresh Kumar Patel, & IA Ashok Maheshwari worked hard to make the event a grand success.
